The DJI Osmo Mobile SE vs 6 have similar form factors, with a foldable design that allows for easy storage and portability. For a gimbal, their weight is also relatively light, making them great for on-the-go filming.
However, the Osmo Mobile SE has a slightly more compact design compared to the Osmo Mobile 6. This is because the Osmo Mobile 6 has a built-in extension rod that can lengthen it by up to 215mm. The extension rod allows you to unlock more viewing angles, making it possible to capture high or low shots that you need to take.

ActiveTrack 6.0 allows subject tracking in complex scenarios, which reliably keeps the subject in the frame even when it is moving rapidly, partially obscured, or when there are other moving objects in the frame. It can even quickly resume tracking if the subject is briefly blocked and then re-enters the frame.
To use ActiveTrack 6.0, make sure the DJI Mimo App is upgraded to V1.9.0 or above. Note that some phone models don't support ActiveTrack 6.0, so you should check compatibility before purchasing. If ActiveTrack 6.0 is not supported, the less intelligent ActiveTrack 5.0 will automatically be available instead.

Once you attach your smartphone, a notification will automatically pop up to launch the DJI Mimo app to start recording immediately, so there's no need for manual reconnection or fumbling with your phone to get started.
The caveat is that the Quick Launch feature is currently supported only on iPhones, so Android users will need to go through more hassles.

The Osmo Mobile SE outperforms the Osmo Mobile 6 in terms of battery life. When fully charged, the Osmo Mobile SE can last up to 8 hours, whereas the Osmo Mobile 6 is limited to 6.5 hours. Although the runtime difference between the DJI Osmo SE vs 6 is not significant, it could make a big impact if you are filming for the entire day.
This difference in battery life is due to the difference in battery capacity, with the Osmo Mobile SE having a larger 2,600mAh battery compared to the 1,000mAh battery in the Osmo Mobile 6.
