Dyson V11
Dyson V10 and V11 have the same overall design and appearance. They are cordless, can transform to handheld mode, can be stored conveniently on the included wall-mounted dock, and feature a 0.77 L bin that empties hygienically with a 'point and shoot' mechanism
Both vacuums feature Dyson's proprietary Motorbar cleaner head, which claims to do a good job in de-tangling hair. However, there's a better tool specialized for hair cleaning, known as the Hair Screw tool, which has a conical brush bar perfect for picking up long hair and pet hair. This tool is included with the V11, while the V10 offers it in the V10 Absolute variant.
Dyson V11 is slightly longer and heavier with around 400g differences in weight, but the V11 features an LCD screen that displays run-time countdown, cleaning modes, and maintenance alerts, making it easy to monitor the vacuum's performance and status. Unfortunately, the Dyson V10 has no LCD screen, so the V11 does have an advantage in terms of user interface and display.

Both vacuums offer 3 cleaning modes with different levels of power and runtime. Eco mode (or Suction 1 in the V10) provides the longest runtime, Medium mode (or Suction 2 in the V10) offers a balance of runtime and suction, while Boost mode has the strongest suction for tougher jobs but shorter runtime.
When used with a High Torque Cleaner Head, the Medium mode in the Dyson V11 will be replaced with Auto mode, which can automatically adjust the suction power based on the floor type detected (carpets or hard floors). Dyson V10 doesn't have this automatic suction adjustment feature, which gives the V11 an advantage in adapting to different floor surfaces.
Other than those mentioned, both the Dyson V10 and V11 share similar cleaning features and capabilities, including 14 cyclones for efficient particle capture and advanced whole-machine filtration that captures up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

Both the Dyson V10 and V11 feature a 7-cell battery, which allows for up to 60 minutes of runtime in Eco (Suction 1) mode. Other modes and settings can reduce the runtime significantly.
Dyson V10 charges more quickly at 3.5 hours, which is an hour faster than the 4.5-hour charging time of the Dyson V11. Faster charging can be more convenient for users who need to quickly recharge the vacuum to resume cleaning large homes or areas.
However, some models of the Dyson V11 have a click-in battery, which allows for easy battery swapping. Replacing the depleted battery with a full, spare battery means users can extend their cleaning time without waiting for the vacuum to recharge.
