The Steaming mode adds hot steam to the cleaning process, melting grease and removing stubborn dirt for a deeper and more thorough cleaning.
The S7 Steam adds 2 more cleaning modes: Boost Steam mode for tackling extra-tough messes and Suction mode for absorbing wet spills without enabling the water jet or steam. The Suction mode is only accessible through the Tineco app, but it is a nice addition that makes the S7 Steam a more versatile vacuum that can handle various cleaning tasks.
Tineco Floor One S7 Steam also stands out with HyperSteam technology, meaning that it uses hot steam at 284° F (140° C) temperature. It is not clear as to whether the Tineco S5 Steam also utilizes the same steam technology at the same high temperature, but it definitely doesn't mention using the 284° F HyperSteam technology that the S7 Steam does.
