This implies that the improvements made in the newer and more advanced model do not come with an increase in cost. This makes it easier for consumers to make a decision, as both models are available at an affordable price point.

Side-by-side, you probably won't be able to tell the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3 and the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 2 apart. They are practically identical to each other, sporting a stubby, cylindrical design with their iconic large "+" and "-" symbols etched across their faces.
Both speakers have an IP67 rating, making them waterproof and dustproof. This makes them perfect for outdoor use or for listening to music while lounging by the pool. Their small size also makes them highly portable, so you can take your music with you wherever you go.
The WONDERBOOM 3 features a slight upgrade in battery life, lasting up to 14 hours compared to the WONDERBOOM 2's battery life of up to 13 hours. Nevertheless, both speakers have long-lasting batteries that will see you through day trips, beach detours, and biking adventures.
The final difference in specifications between the two models concerns their Bluetooth range. The Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 3 has a range of up to 131 feet, which is 30% better than the Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 2's range of 100 feet.

If you already own a WONDERBOOM 2, upgrading to WONDERBOOM 3 may not be worth it. However, if you're looking for a new, small, portable Bluetooth speaker, the WONDERBOOM 3 would be a great choice.
