Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro WiFi Smart Lock
Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro and Yale Assure Lock 2 are designed quite different significantly. Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro features a physical keypad around the fingerprint reader in the middle, complemented by a metal ring and tri-color LED indicator encircling it. The Yale Assure Lock 2, on the other hand, has a sleeker, more modern look with a matte touchscreen with a disappearing keypad.
The Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro comes in three finishes: black, satin nickel, and black with satin nickel. The Yale Assure Lock 2 is available in black suede, satin nickel, and oil-rubbed bronze.
The interior part of both smart locks has an indicator light to show status, and a thumb-turn to lock or unlock the door from the inside. One difference is that the Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro features a reset button, while the Yale Assure Lock 2 features a passage button.

The Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro also supports Google Assistant and Alexa for voice assistant, but it does not support HomeKit. However, the smart lock is compatible with Apple Watch, so you can easily lock and unlock your door right from your wrist.

Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro and Yale Assure Lock 2 share some common smart features. Auto-Lock enables automatic locking after a certain period of time, while Auto-Unlock automatically unlocks the door when you approach it. Both smart locks also come with a door sensor included, allowing detection of opened/closed doors, and can be set to trigger Auto-Lock whenever it detects the door closed. The fingerprint sensor also has a self-study function to improve the verification rate after multiple successes. This smart lock also provides web control for multiple locks, allowing you to manage multiple locks in different locations through a single account.
However, the Yale Assure Lock 2 also offers some competitive features that the Ultraloq counterpart does not have. Passage Mode allows you to leave the door temporarily unlocked for a certain period of time to allow easy access when you're moving things in and out of the house. It also allows for unlimited access codes, which means you can create as many unique codes as you need for family members, guests, housekeepers, or service providers.

Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro has the Emergency Key Override feature that allows you to use a backup key to unlock the door in case of an emergency. The backup keyhole is located hidden inside the exterior assembly to prevent unwanted tampering, so you need to pull the front panel first to insert the key into the backup keyhole.
When the batteries are running low, you will receive alerts from both smart locks. However, they have different power backup mechanisms. The Yale Assure Lock 2 provides a 9v battery backup, while the Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro features a Micro USB port on the bottom of the exterior assembly that can be used to connect to a regular 5V power bank to make sure the lock can still work when batteries run out.

Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro has one more additional feature to ensure security: an anti-peep tactile keypad. With this feature, you can add random digits to protect your passcode from prying eyes.
