Garmin Enduro 3 and Fenix 8 are among Garmin's latest flagship multisport GPS watches in 2024. However, we will not be comparing the Enduro 3 vs Fenix 8 in this article, but rather the Enduro 3 vs the Fenix 7 Pro, which is the predecessor to the Fenix 8.
Garmin Enduro 3 and Fenix 7 Pro are closer in pricing, with the Fenix 7 Pro being US$100 cheaper. With that in mind, how do both smartwatches compare?

Garmin Enduro 3 and Fenix 7 Pro share a rugged build with a 10 ATM water resistance rating and military-grade durability. Both also feature a power-efficient, sunlight-visible transflective memory-in-pixel (MIP) display, but the Enduro 3 has a larger 1.4" display compared to 1.3" on the Fenix 7 Pro.
This could be due to the Enduro 3's larger 51mm case size, compared to the 47mm case size of the Fenix 7 Pro. However, note that the Fenix 7 Pro is also available in other case size variants – the 42mm Fenix 7S Pro and 51mm Fenix 7X Pro. A range of advanced training and performance metrics are also available on both watches, including training status, training load, recovery time, real-time stamina, PacePro pacing strategies, ClimbPro ascent planner, MTB Grit and Flow, race predictor, and more. All of these are useful for athletes and fitness enthusiasts to optimize their training and performance.
One advantage that the Enduro 3 offers is its Advanced Strength Training feature, which is not offered by the Fenix 7 Pro. This feature develops a 4-6 weeks of sports-specific strength training plans for athletes of all types, so so they can better prepare their bodies for their chosen sport.
While the Fenix 7 Pro lacks the Advanced Strength Training feature, it offers built-in support for a wider range of activities. While the Fenix 7 Pro has 99 activity profiles, the Enduro 3 offers 95.
