#3 Health and Fitness Features
Fitbit Versa 3
Before you dive into everything else about the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3, we need to talk about how much each of them cost.
The Fitbit Sense is available at retail for USD$299/SGD$418 whereas the Fitbit Versa 3 is priced at USD229/S$378; that's a difference of tens of dollars. What exactly will be paying for? Let's dive into it!
One noticeable difference between the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 when it comes to design is the two notches found on the Sense's display that indicates where your hand should be positioned if you're using the electrodermal activity sensor.
The only other difference is that the Fitbit Sense comes in sage grey, carbon and lunar white. You can find the Fitbit Versa 3 in midnight, black, pink clay, olive green and thistle.
3. Health and Fitness Tracking
Fitbit Versa 3
Let's start with the health and fitness features that the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 share. You'll find that both devices include a built-in GPS, improved heart-rate sensors, sleep tracking, a built-in microphone and speaker and a choice between the Amazon Alexa or Google voice assistant.
Yet, with the extra you're spending on the Fitbit Sense, you're getting a more in-depth look at your health. Firstly, there's an ECG app that aids in monitoring your heart for signs of atrial fibrillation (AF or AFib), a condition of irregular heart rhythm. In the case that your heartbeat falls below or goes beyond the typical heart rate, the Fitbit Sense will send alerts to you.
Secondly, the Fitbit Sense has a new temperature sensor. This tracks changes in your skin temperature that indicate early indicators of illness, menstrual cycle or pregnancy.
Finally, the Fitbit Sense includes a sensor to track electrodermal activity which measures stress responses through electric changes in your skin's sweat level. To use this feature, all you've got to do is place your palm over the face of the Sense. Then, the Sense and Fitbit app will guide you through meditation or relaxation activities to mitigate stress.
Compare Fitbit Sense vs Fitbit Versa 3

However, the differences we've outlined will guide your decision. If you're interested in getting a holistic overview of your health, or your goal is to manage stress, the Fitbit Sense is a better pick. If, on the other hand, you're content with a stylish watch that has tracks everyday workouts and sends notifications, the Fitbit Versa 3 works considerably well (for a slightly lower price at that).
