#1 Price
Jabra Elite 5
As the newer model with more advanced features, the Jabra Elite 10 is more expensive at USD$249.99. On the other hand, the Elite 5, which was released in 2022, is priced more affordably at USD$149.99.
#2 Design & Durability
Jabra Elite 10
The Elite 10 is slightly more compact with dimensions of 19.1 x 16 x 17.6 mm, compared to the Elite 5 with dimensions of 20 x 20.54 x 27 mm. However, the Elite 5 is more lightweight at 5 g, while the Elite 10 weighs 5.4 g. These differences are minor and should not be a major deciding factor when choosing between the two earbuds.
What's more crucial when choosing between the two earbuds is their durability. The Elite 10 is more durable with an IP57 rating, meaning that it has a higher level of dust and water resistance compared to the Elite 5's lower IP55 rating.
In addition, Elite 10 features the new Jabra ComfortFit technology, which guarantees comfortable all-day wear. With a semi-open earbuds design, the Elite 10 puts less pressure on the ear canal, making it very comfortable to use for an extended period. The earbuds also come with EarGels of 4 size options: large medium, small, and extra large. Meanwhile, the Elite 5 only has 3 size options: large, medium, and small.
The Elite 10 also comes in more color options, including cream, titanium black, matte black, gloss black, and cocoa. The Elite 5, on the other hand, is only available in black, gold beige, and titanium black.
#3 Sound & Performance
Jabra Elite 5
Six microphones are built into the Elite 10 and Elite 5, which gives both earbuds an excellent call quality. The external microphones are active on all calls, but the internal ones automatically activate when it's windy, helping to improve call clarity.
Both the Elite 10 and Elite 5 also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which cancels noise across a wider range of sounds for uninterrupted listening of music and clear vocals during calls. However, one difference is that the ANC in Elite 10 is Advanced, meaning that it is 2x more powerful than a standard ANC. Elite 5, on the other hand, has a Hybrid ANC, which is only 1.3x stronger than a standard ANC. This means, the Elite 10 is better at blocking out external noise, making it more suitable for noisy environments like airplanes, trains, and busy streets.
Jabra Elite 10
Both wireless earbuds also feature HearThrough technology, which allows you to adjust the level of external sound you want to let in. This is a very useful feature for when you want to be aware of your surroundings while still enjoying your music, such as when crossing the street or talking to someone.
The Elite 10 also features an additional Spatial Sound technology unavailable in the Elite 5. Powered by Dolby Atmos with Head Tracking, this feature creates an immersive sound experience that makes you feel like you're in the middle of the sound.
#4 Battery Life
Jabra Elite 5
When it comes to battery life, the Elite 5 is a better option. It gives you up to 7 hours of listening time or you can extend it up to 28 hours with the charging case. The Elite 10, on the other hand, only allows up to 6 hours of listening time with the ANC enabled, and up to 27 hours with the charging case.
Both earbuds take around 3 hours to reach a full charge, but they have fast charging capabilities. For Elite 5, you can get an hour of playback in 10 minutes. For Elite 10, you can get the same 1 hour of playback in just 5 minutes of charging.
#5 Connectivity
Jabra Elite 10
The two earbuds connect to your devices wirelessly using Bluetooth and also have Bluetooth Multipoint support. This feature enables you to connect to two devices simultaneously, making it easy to switch between them without having to reconnect.
The Elite 10 also features Bluetooth 5.3, which offers improved performance, enhanced audio features, and upgraded security features compared to Elite 5's Bluetooth 5.2. The Elite 10 is also Bluetooth LE-ready, making it more future-proofed.
However, the Elite 5 has an advantage over the Elite 10 with its support for Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant. The Elite 10, on the other hand, is only compatible with Siri and Google Assistant.

Jabra Elite 5
When it comes to comfortable design, durability, and audio performance, the Elite 10 has many advantages over the Elite 5. However, the Elite 5 can be a more affordable option for those looking for a good pair of earbuds with longer battery life and support for Alexa.
