If you're looking for an OLED TV with great quality and features, the LG C1 and C2 are both excellent options. Released in 2022, LG C2 is an upgrade to its predecessor C1 which was released in 2021. How different are they? And if you already own the C1, is it worth upgrading to the C2? Let's dive in and find out.

Both the C1 and C2 look sleek and modern with an ultra-thin design and slim bezel. In addition, Gallery Mode which is supported in both models can transform your TV into a work of art, displaying beautiful images of artwork, landscapes, and more when not in use.
Both TVs have 4 HDMI, 3 USB, and 1 LAN port for wired connection. They come with Magic Remote included, which offers voice control, button shortcuts, point, click, and scroll for easy navigation. The C1 also includes a wall-mount bracket in the box, while the C2 does not, so you'll need to purchase it separately if you want to wall-mount your TV.

Powered by self-lit OLED technology, both the C1 and C2 offer stunning picture quality with perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and true-to-life colors. Both optimize content to deliver stunning 4K quality, but the C2's Gen5 Processor offers better AI upscaling and up-mixes 2-channel audio into virtual 7.1.2 channel surround sound.
Another difference is that the C2 features Brightness Booster, which delivers up to 20% more luminance. This is especially useful for bright rooms or when watching HDR content, as it can help improve visibility and details in bright scenes.

With the built-in Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, both the LG C1 and C2 allow you to control your TV hands-free with voice commands. One notable difference between the two is that the C2 runs on LG's newer webOS 22 operating system, while the C1 runs on webOS 6.0. They both have friendly and intuitive interfaces, but the C2's webOS 22 supports up to 6 user profiles, allowing each user to have their own personalized home screen, recommendations, and settings.

Overall, the LG C1 and C2 are both excellent OLED TVs that offer stunning picture quality, great sound, and a wide range of features. The C2 does offer some slight upgrades over the C1, including a better processor, Brightness Booster, and a new operating system with up to 6 user profiles.
If you already own the C1, upgrading to the C2 may not be worth it as it won't make a huge difference in terms of performance. However, if you're looking for a new OLED TV, the LG C2 is definitely worth considering as it offers great value for its price.
