What's The Difference?

Water Resistance

Jabra Elite 75t vs Jabra Elite Active 75t

Jabra Elite 75t

The Jabra Elite 75t has an IP55 water resistance rating, meaning that while it does protects your earbuds from the occasional splash or drop of rain, its advisable not to submerge them in water. On the other hand, the Jabra Elite Active 75t features a IP57 water resistance rating, making them practically waterproof thanks to a thin special coating on the exterior of the earbuds. The Elite Active 75t earbuds will survive in depths of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes at a time but do be forewarned that submerging the earbuds in saltwater will brick them completely.

In terms of waterproofing, the Jabra Elite Active 75t definitely comes up on top with superior water resistance ratings. However its worth noting that both models are not suitable for taking a dip in the beach, so do keep your buds safely on shore!
