Updated September 2022
Jabra has one of the most extensive earbuds collections in the market. Their earbuds are also similar sounding which makes the decision-making even more complicated. To help you out, we've compared the difference between the Jabra Elite 75t and Jabra Elite Active 75t and settled on whether the Jabra Elite 85t vs Jabra Elite 75t is worth the upgrade. Recently, we covered if you should buy the Jabra Elite 7 Pro or Jabra Elite 75t. Right now, we have so many questions about the Jabra Elite 7 Pro vs Jabra Elite 7 Active!
We're pitting them based on:
On our list
#1 Rubberised Coating
#2 Call Quality
#3 Colour Options
1. Rubberised Coating
Jabra Elite 7 Pro
The Jabra Elite 7 Active has an advantage over the Jabra Elite 7 Pro with the rubberised coating on the buds. When worn casually, there's not much of a difference between the two models. However, the Elite 7 Active gives off a "sticky" feel, which no doubt helps with more vigorous workouts. The coating, dubbed ShakeGrip, helps hold the buds more securely in your ear without the need for ear wings, unlike its competitors.
On the other hand, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro earbuds are designed for comfort and convenience. The buds' bodies are moulded to fit snugly in your ear, and almost feel like they disappear when worn - works well if you're on calls for hours on end.
2. Call Quality
Jabra Elite 7 Active
When it comes to call quality, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro has an advantage over the Jabra Elite 7 Active. Through a combination of four microphones and Voice Pick Up sensors in each bud, Jabra's new Jabra MultiSensor Voice technology completely reinvents calls on the go. In windy environments, other disruptive noises are removed thanks to the bone conduction technology, allowing your voice to be picked up well, delivering a clear call experience.
Though call quality is fairly decent in the Jabra Elite 7 Active is still decent, it lacks the wind-cancellation feature.
3. Colour Options
Jabra Elite 7 Pro
As subjective colour options might be, we're still including it here. The Jabra Elite 7 Active stands out with the choice to get your earbuds in mint. Other options include navy and black. Jabra left a muted colour palette (titanium black and blank) for the Elite 7 Pro except for the gold beige that stands out.
Jabra Elite 7 Active
Price-wise, you have to pay slightly more for the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. While it's a tinge more expensive, keep in mind, you're also getting the Jabra MultiSensor Voice technology which is absent in the Jabra Elite 7 Active.
Compare Jabra Earbuds
We've discussed the differences. As for the similarities, Jabra equips both the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and Jabra Elite 7 Active with a great battery life of 30 hours and buds that are lightweight and sculpted for comfort.
Yet, even with the differences laid out, the decision is more of when and where you'll be using the earbuds. If you're an active person, go for the Jabra Elite 7 Active. But if you go on calls a lot and prioritise clarity, you'll get that with the Jabra Elite 7 Pro. How about you're someone who needs a pair of earbuds that's rugged and excellent for calls? Then, the Jabra Elite 7 Pro will suit you just fine.
