Jabra Elite 75t
The Jabra Elite 75t is a great versatile choice for essentially anyone looking for solid true wireless earbuds. Earbuds need to be durable which is exactly why the Jabra Elite 75t features a IP55 water-resistance rating to provide some dust resistance and protection from the occasional splash or drop of rain. This means that you can take these earbuds to the gym or even the beach, although it's advisable not to submerge them in water.
Good things come in small sizes. Although the Jabra Elite 75t earbuds feature a more compact design, they also come with a 7.5 hour battery life that's almost double the 4 hour battery life of its predecessor, the Jabra Elite 65t.
The Jabra Elite 75t upgrade was made possible due to the use of Bluetooth 5.0 which optimises both wireless connectivity and battery life so you'll never have to deal with the bluetooth connectivity problems again.
One important selling point of the Jabra Elite 75t is the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) firmware update which uses built-in microphones to mask background sound so you can tune out from your surroundings and focus on your music. When you'd like to tune back in, simply give your left earbud a short press to activate the HearThrough transparency mode which lets ambient sounds in.
Along with this comes the Sound+ application where you can customise the HearThrough transparency mode on the Jabra Elite 75t. You can also pause your music when activated or adjust the EQ settings to tweak your music to your liking.
It's worth noting that Jabra has indeed released an updated version of the Jabra Elite 75t in the form of the Jabra Elite 85t. However, in our opinion the Jabra Elite 75t still retains its' ranking as the best Jabra earbuds available in the 2021 range. You can read our in depth comparison article on the differences between the Elite 75t and the Elite 85t here.
To put it simply, the Jabra Elite 75t earbuds are the ultimate everyday true wireless earbuds designed for everyone and made for anywhere. The Jabra Elite 75t comes in Black, Titanium Black and Gold Beige. You can learn more about the Jabra Elite 75t here.
Best For Sport: Jabra Elite Active 75T
The Jabra Elite Active 75t true wireless workout is an all-in-one, value-for-money solution for fitness enthusiasts. The main difference between the Jabra Elite Active 75t and the Jabra Elite 75t lies in its' durability which makes all the difference in the world of sports and exercise. You can check our article here for a more in-depth comparison between the Elite Active 75t and the Elite 75t.
The Jabra Elite Active 75t features a solid IP57 water resistance rating that makes them practically dust and waterproof thanks to a thin special coating on the exterior of the earbuds. This means that the earbuds will survive in depths of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes at a time so they're more than able to withstand any sweat or grime built up at the gym.
We can't talk about sound quality without mentioning the latest firmware update in the Jabra Elite Active 75t which uses built-in microphones to mask background sound so you can tune out from your surroundings and focus on your music. The Elite Active 75t also comes with an integrated pressure relief vent which filters ambient noise and promotes a stronger bass response for the ultimate heart thumping workout experience.
The Sound+ application allows you to activate the HearThrough transparency mode on the Jabra Elite Active 75t to let ambient sounds in when you're on an outdoor run or simply want to remain vigilant when exercising alone. It also comes with a "find my earbuds" function to help you locate your earbuds if you ever find yourself misplacing them, keeping your $300 investment safe and sound.
Overall, if you're serious about exercise then the Jabra Elite Active 75t is definitely worth the premium. The Elite Active 75t comes in Navy, Copper black, Titanium Black, Grey, Mint and Sienna. You can learn more about the Jabra Elite Active 75t here.
Best For Over-Ear: Jabra Elite 85h
Affordable and Effective. Although the Jabra Elite 85h isn't anything new, that doesn't change the fact that it's still really good. People typically purchase headphones over earbuds for better sound quality and a more comfortable fit, two areas that the Jabra Elite 85h delivers on.
The Jabra Elite 85h headphones come with plush ear cups that fold flat and rotate up toward the headband, keeping them portable and also comfortable enough to wear all day. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on the Elite 85h uses four out of eight microphones to detect and filter out ambient noises.
With the Jabra Elite 85h, you even have the option to select exactly what ambient noises you'd like to tune out through the Jabra Sound+ application, making for a truly customisable experience. You might want to tune into your surroundings sometimes, that's why the sound+ application also features the HearThrough transparency mode which lets ambient noises in.
The Jabra Elite 85h comes with a 3.5mm cable for wired usage but also connects to your phone via Bluetooth 5.0 for a true wireless experience. Bluetooth 5.0 gives you a 10-meter wireless connectivity range and also helps conserve your headphone's battery life— not that it really needs to be conserved.
After all, the Jabra Elite 85h has an impressively long battery life. It's made to last up to 41 hours without ANC, 34.5 hours with ANC and not to mention, a whole year of standby time. Even when your battery finally dies, it only takes 2.5 hours to complete a full charge cycle thanks to the USB-C cable which enables fast charging.
Not only does the Jabra Elite 85h have a long lasting battery life, it's also made to last through the years with a water-resistant nano-coating. This coats the internal components of the headphones, protecting it from brief exposure to a splash of water or a light shower of rain.
The bottom line is that the Jabra Elite 85h is an exceptional pair of headphones with an attractive price and a feature-packed design. It comes in Titanium Black, Navy, Gold Beige and Copper Black. You can learn more about the Jabra Elite 85h here.
Best For Budget: Jabra Elite 65t
The Jabra Elite 65t doesn't promise to be perfect, but it does give you value for your money. The Jabra Elite 65t is slightly bulkier than the Jabra Elite 75t but it's still light weight, given that it's made of plastic.
One unique selling point of the Jabra Elite 65t is its' ability to pair with up to eight devices and connect to up two of them at any given time using Bluetooth multipoint. This allows you to switch between listening to music your phone and computer seamlessly or receive a phone call whilst listening to music on another device.
On the other hand, one area where the Jabra Elite 65t is lacking compared to alternatives on the market is in its 4 hour battery life. The charging case offers an additional 10 hours of battery life, giving you 1.5 hours of playback time simply with a 15 minute charge.
While 4 hours may be good enough for casual music listeners, it pales in comparison to the 7.5 hour battery life the Elite 75t has to offer, hence ranking best for budget instead of best overall. The Jabra Elite 65t also does not feature active noice cancellation unlike the Jabra elite 75t.
When it comes down to it, the Jabra Elite 65t is still a really good option for a decent pair of true wireless earbuds. Although it doesn't come with many of the new features present in newer models, for its affordable price point you're getting a truly solid deal. The Jabra Elite 65t comes in Titanium Black, Gold Beige, and Copper Black. You can learn more about the Jabra Elite 65t here.
