#1 Price
Logitech Brio
Logitech Brio is more expensive at $199.99. On the other hand, Logitech C920 is more affordable at $69.99. Oftentimes, you may even find the C920 on sale for as low as $59.99, making it a much more budget-friendly option for those who don't need a 4K resolution.
#2 Design
Logitech C920s
The Logitech Brio looks sleek and modern, featuring an elliptical-shaped body with a matte black finish. The C920, on the other hand, has a more traditional rectangular-shaped body and textured surface. Both are sturdy and offer two mounting options: mount to monitor using the included mounting clip, or mount to a tripod or other mounting accessory using the built-in 1/4 thread.
The Logitech Brio includes an attachable Privacy Shade which can be used to cover the lens when the camera is not in use. Logitech C920 offers this feature as well, but only in the C920s and C920e models.
Both webcams connect to your computer via USB-A, but the Logitech Brio has a slight advantage with its USB-C support. That means, you can purchase a third-party adapter if you want to use a USB-C port on your computer.
#3 Video Quality
Logitech Brio
Logitech Brio can capture video at 4K Ultra HD resolution, which is four times the resolution of 1080p, the maximum resolution that the C920 delivers. Logitech Brio also has a wider 90° diagonal field of view, compared to C920 which has a limited field of view of only 78°.
Both Brio and C920 have Auto Focus and Auto Light Correction, but Brio comes with a more advanced RightLight 3 technology with HDR capability, which is better at automatically adjusting the exposure and contrast to help you look your best in any lighting conditions.
In terms of zooming capability, both Brio and C920 feature digital zoom, but Brio has a slight edge with its 5x HD digital zoom compared to C920's 1.2x digital zoom.
#4 Features
Logi Tune Desktop App
The Logi Tune Desktop app is available for Logitech webcams, including the Brio and C920. This app allows you to customize the settings of your webcam, such as adjusting brightness, contrast, color intensity, field of view, and more. You can also make sure your webcam is up to date and join meetings with just one click.
Logitech Brio and C920 are both equipped with dual omnidirectional microphones that capture clear stereo sound from a wider range of angles, allowing you to be heard loud and clear during video calls or recordings. However, the microphone range of Brio is slightly better than C920's, which means that it can pick up sound from a slightly greater distance.
Logitech Brio
One notable feature that the Logitech Brio has, which is missing in the C920, is Windows Hello integration. This feature allows you to log in to your Windows computer using facial recognition, making it a convenient and secure way to access your device without having to type in your password.
Logitech Brio 4K vs Logitech C920
Final Thoughts
Logitech C920
Logitech Brio offers better video quality with 4K resolution, wider 90° diagonal field of view, and the more advanced RightLight 3 technology. However, if don't need 4K resolution or simply looking for a more budget-friendly option with only the essential features, the Logitech C920 can be a great choice.
