#1 Scheduling & Stopwatch

The scheduling function allows you to set a specific time for the kettle to start heating your water. For example, while you're getting ready for work in the morning, you can set the kettle to start boiling water at 8 AM. The app will show a countdown timer to your scheduled time and it's all set when you're ready to pour your morning cup of coffee or tea.

After the water is heated, the Brew Stopwatch feature allows you to time your brew for the perfect cup every time. This can be done via the Govee Home App by setting time to every step of the brewing process and starting the timer with a single tap.

#2 Temperature Control

Govee Smart Gooseneck Kettle offers 4 preset temperatures you can choose from to ensure your water is heated to the optimal temperature for your specific brewing needs. These include 180°F Green Tea, 195°F Oolong Tea, 205°F Coffee, and 212°F Black Tea or Boil.

If you want to customize the temperature beyond the presets, you can use the DIY mode to set the temperature anywhere between 104-212°F.

You can check the real-time temperature on the app to monitor the heating progress and ensure your water reaches the perfect temperature.

Once the water reaches your desired temperature, the kettle will beep three times, send you a notification from the app, and automatically shut off. However, you can also use the Keep-Warm function in the app or by clicking the Hold button in the touch panel, which maintains the water temperature for up to 2 hours.

#3 Baby Formula Mode

With this mode, the kettle boils the water first and then cools it down to a safe 104°F or your desired temperature, perfect for preparing a perfectly warm baby formula.

This thoughtful feature takes the guesswork out of preparing your baby's bottle, ensuring the formula is at the optimal temperature every time. Simply enable the Infant Formula Mode in the app, and the kettle will do the rest, allowing you to focus on what matters most - your little one.

#4 Voice & App Control

Controlling the Govee Smart Gooseneck Kettle can be done directly in the touch panel of the device, which allows for turning on/off the kettle, setting modes, and turning the Keep-Warm function.

However other more advanced features will require you to use the app, including setting custom temperatures, scheduling, monitoring the heating progress, receiving water-ready notifications, changing temperature units, and more settings.

The Govee Smart Gooseneck Kettle supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection, so you can use the app without the limited range that Bluetooth connection imposes.

The smart kettle can also be integrated into Alexa and Google Assistant, allowing you to control the kettle from both ecosystem apps and voice commands for added hands-free convenience.

#5 Boil-Dry Protection

You need to make sure that the kettle has water inside before turning it on, but in case you forget, or if the water dries out, the Govee Smart Gooseneck Kettle comes with Boil-Dry Protection for safety.

Boil-Dry Protection automatically switches off the kettle's heating element when it detects there is no water left, preventing potential damage and ensuring safety.

When the Boil-Dry Protection is activated, the kettle will beep 10 times to alert you of the issue. If this happens, wait for the kettle to cool off for a while before refilling it with water.
