Air conditioners have become an invention that most people have come to love and have been widely adopted as a means to keep cool indoors. However, when it's time to step outdoors, the unforgiving heat can become extremely uncomfortable at times.
The folks at TORRAS thought long and hard about the problem and set down to design the first iteration of what we can call a wearable air conditioner. They wanted to replicate the comforts of an air conditioner into a device that is personal and portable.
Introducing the TORRAS Coolify, the most technologically advanced personal air conditioning unit. It uses a Ku Peltier Radiator and 3D Airflow Design to help lower your body temperature in just 3 seconds.
How does the TORRAS Coolify work?

It's rather simple yet smart. The TORRAS Coolify works mainly based on two mechanisms — a radiator and air vents.
The TORRAS Coolify uses what it calls a Ku Peltier Radiator, which is the main secret to this personal air conditioner device. To simply put, a radiator is a heat exchanger used to transfer thermal energy from one medium to another for the purpose of cooling and heating.
In this case, it is mainly used for what is called semiconductor refrigeration. When the device is activated, the radiator that is in contact with your skin becomes extremely cold by transferring the heat from inside the device to the external environment. The cooling sensation is immediately felt by your body and is primarily the science behind lowering your body temperature. If you're slightly concerned about whether this is harmful, you'd be glad to know that this process is generally harmless and is akin to putting an ice pack on your neck.
The cooling mode comes with 3 different level settings — C1, C2, C3 — with each setting getting colder. By using the Coolify, you can cool your body down by up to 15°C in seconds by drawing heat away from your body instantly, which makes it great for the outdoors and also stuffy indoor areas.

You can now also experience heating. The latest Coolify is also designed for keeping you warm when it gets cold at home, at work or outside. Simply activate heating mode and feel it heat up to provide you with a calm, warming sensation.
Like the cooling mode, the heating mode also comes with 3 different heat settings — H1, H2, H3 — with each higher setting representing an increasing heat level. The heat from the device feels rather soothing, which provides a very nice sensation in cold places like air-conditioned malls.

Another crucial feature to help with cooling is Coolify's 3D Airflow. Using a patented air duct design and a lightning-fast 5000 rpm brushless motor, Coolify lets you feel fully refreshed with strong airflow volume at the push of a button.
The fan function comes with 3 different speed modes to let you toggle between the options to suit your needs. At each speed setting, you can feel a soothing upward breeze towards your face to help keep your cool.

Does it actually work?
There is reason to be sceptical if the TORRAS Coolify actually works because like with most things that are relatively new, it's just hard to believe until you've tried it. We've personally have tried the TORRAS Coolify and could easily feel a difference in seconds. The cooling sensation from the radiator paired with the bi-directional wind provided a unique comfort. That's our word. However, we're also not sure whether the effects will be similar for others as we all generally know that everyone perceives and feels temperature differently. Some people get cold more easily, while and others are more resistant to it.
