1. Press down and hold the Button
2. Slide the Top Lid up to the top
3. Open both of the Hook Arm Switches
4. Place thumbs against the switches and press them down
5. Slowly push the switches up until the switches slide into the gaps
6. Place the device onto the rod
7. Compress the space as much as you can until the Hook Arm Switches skip off
8. Conceal Hook Arm Switches into the slots
